S: Earth via biased off sprung return switch. This terminal must only be earthed temporarily.

Applications:
Typical use: Headlight, dip and main circuits.
The ''S'' terminal must never be permanently earthed.
Use with a bias-off/sprung return, a momentary switch such as a push-button or biased off toggle switch.
