The Battery Separator (Split Charge Relay) is designed for use in
situations where 2 batteries are used; for example in boats, campers
and caravans.
The microprocessor in the Battery Separator (Split Charge
Relay) ensures the main battery is sufficiently charged before allowing the second battery to be charged. This ensures your main (start) battery is fully charged at all times. It will not allow the second battery to discharge the main vehicle battery.
In situations where the vehicle is standing unused for long periods, and a seperate charger is connected to the second battery, it will also charge the main vehicle battery.
