Split Charge Relay 100amp BS100

•  Run a power lead from the  RBS100 to your main vehicle battery positive terminal. 
•  Run a power lead from the  RBS100 to your auxiliary battery positive terminal. 
•  Run a cable from your RBS100 to earth via a 3amp in-line fuse. A simple, but effective and inexpensive solution to charging a second battery. 

The Battery Separator (Split Charge Relay) is designed for use in situations where 2 batteries are used; for example in boats, campers, caravans and working vehicles using auxiliary equipment. 

The microprocessor in the Battery Separator (Split Charge Relay) ensures the main battery is sufficiently charged before allowing the second battery to be charged. This ensures your main (start) battery is fully charged at all times. It will not allow the second battery to discharge the main vehicle battery. 

In situations where the vehicle is standing unused for long periods, and a separate charger is connected to the second battery, it will also charge the main vehicle battery if the voltage reaches 13.2v for 7 seconds. In addition this relay offers an option enabling you to start the vehicle by connecting both batteries together depending on engine size. 

The RBS100 also protects your leisure (secondary) battery from over-charging should the alternator malfunction. If the voltage exceeds 16 volts the relay immediately cuts out.
